Catching up

Board 6 went back to an empty collection

The first launch was heading for the drain too quickly, so the layout got a proper restart.

The first version of Board 6 wasn't doing what I wanted. Launch, hit a bumper, head back down toward trouble. There were features on the table, but the opening wasn't giving the ball much of a chance to interact with them.

We cleared that version and studied Board 1 again. The rebuild starts with an upper catch area containing several things to hit, then opens into the middle scoring area. Below that are the shots you can deliberately aim for, with clear space around the flippers.

The ramp has two destinations: back into the upper action or toward flipper control. It felt much closer to the right idea. Then a couple of bumper and wall combinations started repeating themselves, so those needed another adjustment. I want a good opening rally, not a ball that plays the same little loop forever.
